Middle Mountain Momma – May 1, Douthat State Park
Douthat State Park carries the nickname MTB Disneyland for a reason. The CCC built singletrack is amazing, and riding is welcomed and encouraged by the helpful staff and management. This long running mother-of-a-race race celebrates the great trails with a terrific ride every May. A national US Cup Qualifier, a Virginia OIff Road Series Event, and a West Virginia Ultra Series points event all in one. 11, 21, and 41 mile (XXC) versions for all classes. Cabins and camping are available (but reserve now!).

Massanutten Hoo-Ha! – June 4-5, Harrisonburg, VA
Massanutten kicked off this long running franchise in 1989, and has grown into one of the best events in the country. A US Cup national qualifier and Triple Crown event, this one’s typically the largest Virginia mountain bike race on the calendar. Includes Super D (downhill cross country), short track, and the main event Sunday.
