The annual BRBC Summer Social was held on July 2nd at the home of Wes and Elizabeth Wilmer. Approximately 50 members and their families enjoyed a great meal catered by Wildwood Smokehouse, and entertainment by caricature artist Kyle Edgell.
Annual Meeting And Winter Social At Blue 5

Join the BRBC for a winter social and cast your ballot for the new BRBC Board. We will be holding our annual meeting on January 31st at Blue 5 Restaurant, located at 312 2nd street in downtown Roanoke. The social/dinner begins at 5:00 PM, and the meeting will run from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. You can order dinner and drinks at any point during the evening, and you’re welcome to stay and socialize after the meeting.

First Annual Ride For Bert A Huge Success!

On Sunday October 2nd about 65 cyclists and friends gathered for the first annual Ride for Bert. It was a joyous celebration for our good friend and fellow cyclist, Bert Spetzler. The ride took place almost 2 years after Bert’s cycling accident that left him a quadriplegic. Everyone was so inspired to see Bert standing tall once again as he met us at the start and again at the barbeque picnic after the ride. We are all so proud of all your hard work Bert!
